Phil Pavarini Insurance

This explains what Phil Pavarini Insurance collects when you review and sign a document through this service, and why.

What is collected

Your name and email address, what you type into the document, your signature as you draw, type or upload it, and the date and time of each step. It also includes your network (IP) address and the approximate location it indicates, your browser, device and screen details, your time zone and language, and, only if you allow it in your browser, the location your device reports.

Why it is collected

To deliver the document to you, to confirm that the person who signed is the person it was sent to and that they meant to sign, and to keep the audit trail that makes an electronic signature provable under federal and state law. It is also used to keep the service secure.

How it is protected

All data is encrypted in transit. Stored values and files are encrypted with keys held only by this service. Where the service is set not to keep personal identifiers, Social Security numbers it detects are blacked out of uploaded forms, and typed ones are reduced to their last four digits.

Who sees it

Phil Pavarini Insurance, the other parties to the same document, and the infrastructure provider that hosts the service (Cloudflare), only to run it. It is not sold or used for advertising. It is disclosed to others only where the law requires.

How long it is kept

Completed documents are kept for 7 years, then destroyed. The audit trail may be kept longer where a law or regulation requires it.

Your choices

You can decline to sign, and you can refuse to share your device location without affecting your ability to sign. To ask for a copy of your information, or a correction, contact service@americassuretybonds.com.
